Gate valve is a gate opening and closing parts, RAM direction of motion perpendicular to the direction of the fluid, valve can only be fully open and fully closed, can not be adjusted and the throttle. Gate valve according to the structure of the gate is divided into two types of wedge and parallel. Wedge gate has 3 kinds of structure: Single gate, double gate and elastic gate.

Gate valve according to the different types of structure is divided into flat gate valve and knife gate valve.

Manual gate valve works: Turn the handwheel, through the hand wheel and stem thread into, retreat, lift or drop the valve stem connected with the valve plate, to open and close the role.
